Project Launch: 

• Project was launched on 8.8.2016 in the class room. Mrs. Muthulakshmi, PGT Bio and Ms. Vidya Unikrishnan, PGT Bio released the project logo and addressed the students. Mrs. Muthulakshmi , briefed about difference in appearances of African and Asian Elephants.She explained them about the adaption of elephants.Ms. Vidya, briefed the students about elephant parading and utilizing the elephants in other works. She asked students do more research on these. Photos.. 

World Elephant Day 12 th August 2016:

• Main motto of World Elephant Day is "Bringing the World together to help elephants "World Elephant Day is an International Annual Event on August 12 dedicated to the prevention and protection of  worlds elephant. Students of Class VII A briefed about the importance of the day in the Morning Assembly. Photos...

Read aloud and Quiz Activity:

• Balamurali of VII A read the passage on Adaptation of Elephants in front of the students. It was followed by a set of 10 questions based on the passage. Class was divided in to 4 groups. (Click here for the passage and quiz)

Voice Your Opinion Activity:

• Students came forward with their views on the topic "Elephant parading on temple fest". (Click here for the report on the points discussed)

Interviewing a veterinary doctor:

Conclusion of Project:

• Project was concluded with a session on 17.11.2016. Each student of the class spoke in front of the class on what they have learnt from this project. Individual Assessment was done by the project coordinator based on the predefined rubix. Students presented their report with  the help of  videos, PPTs, Posters. (photos..)
